The Gayze Off!!!

Te Tuhi Billboards

All the Cunning Stunts (the collaborative art group I’m part of) have just opened three new billboard works at Te Tuhi gallery in Pakuranga, Auckland

The billboard exhibition is titled The Gayze Off!!!, 2012 and you can read more about it here. Eye witnesses have reported vehicles slowing down to view the work…

We’re also posting a bunch of our process drawings, digital dalliances and works-in-progress on our facebook page:

Caves are made of rock but not this cave

Blue Oyster Project Space

I had a great time installing a collaborative show with Sian Torrington and Joan Fleming in Dunedin five weeks ago. Sian created majestic large-scale mixed media drawings, as well as sculptural works. Joan created a research wall that crackled with voices and vocabulary in the form of poetry, and I created a video work called ‘Stalactitus’ alongside a collection of digital drawings.

You can view a low-fi version of the video in the post alongside this one.

We were thrilled to be reviewed in the Otago Daily Times and Art New Zealand.

‘The cave becomes a primal space in which woman fumbles, finds, flowers and falls as her search for self-recognition and self-representation ensues – this is an honest and probing exhibition.’ – Franky Strachan/ Otago Daily Times
